1.   What is a de Verde Pegasus HOD Cell?

It is an On-Board, HydroOxy generator, which produces Hydrogen and Oxygen from water using a Low-Amp 12v technology invented and developed by de Verde Technologies Limited.

2.     Will it work on Petrol cars as well as Diesels?

Yes it works and will reduce emissions on all vehicle types.

3.   Is it safe to fit on vehicles?

Yes the cells are safe and have fail-safe built in.  No Hydrogen is stored after the engine stops.

4.   Is it legal?

Yes it is and it is approved by most insurance companies.  The product is CE marked and has Product Liability Insurance.

5.   Will it affect my Warranty?

The typical response from Manufacturers is that the fitting of the system would not invalidate the warranty, but any subsequent failure of any component which is deemed to be as a result of this fitment would not be covered under warranty.

6.   Will it work on modern Diesels?

Yes

7.   Will it upset my car's ECU?

No

8.   Will it work in Winter?

Yes as long as the water is not frozen.  The cells are difficult to freeze under normal UK weather conditions, and as long as the vehicle is not left standing for long periods, the cells should work fine in cold weather. Extra protection may be required for use in sub-zero conditions.

9.   Will the cells overheat in Summer?

No, they are uniquely designed to run cool.

10.   How many cells will I need?

This depends on the vehicle type.  As a rule, one cell is needed per litre engine, however, heavy aerodynamic vehicles may need more. Please seek advice Contact Us.

11.   Can I fit the cells myself?

Sorry No.  We have an expanding network of Local Trained & Qualified Installers who will be able to fit and maintain your Hydrogen System.

12.   Can I extend the normal Warranty of 36,000 miles, as I am a high mileage driver?

Yes an extended Warranty is available.

13.  Will this damage my engine?

No, in fact fitting our system will extend the life of your engine.

14. Will I notice any difference to the way my car drives?

Yes, for the better and you will notice the change instantly with more torque, (great for towing) and your car will become smoother and more responsive
